About Us
Shrine Rack develops one-of-kind displays for organizing your most valuable possessions. We see some shoes and accesories as works of art. They tell a story about their owner and style. Our unique wall-mounted racks can highlight limited edition sneakers or simply get your shoe collection off the floor and on your wall. Shrine Rack’s headquarters is located in the mission neighborhood of San Francisco. We have been manufacturing our products locally in Oakland, CA since 2008.
Fernando A. Robert Founder and Creative Director, Shrine Rack
Originally from Argentina, Fernando grew up in the states and labels himself as a Product Creative. After attending the Savannah College of Art and Design, he worked in both corporate and consultancy design environments. A few years later after relocating to San Francisco he started his own design house, studioFAR. In 2009, the Shrine Sneaker Rack was invited by ICFF studio and Bernhardt Design to show at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City. The overwhelming positive response served as the springboard for the evolution of the Shrine Rack brand.

FAQS
The word shrine is defined by a holy or sacred place. The Shrine Sneaker Rack was our first product and designed specifically for Sneakerheads. Tired of having our valuable collection tucked away in boxes, we wanted them out on display. To treat sneakers as art, creating a sanctuary of devotion for these modern day artifacts.
The Shrine Sneaker Rack was created for displaying limited edition and/or collectible kicks. For those ‘never worn’ sneakers, you can show off the outsole design of the left shoe. Below that it supports the lateral side of the right shoe. With this rack, sneakers are floating just inches from the wall. No other wall shelf highlights sneakers this way. You can make a small or large display in your favorite room.
The Shrine Shoe Rack can hold three pairs of shoes. It gets them off the floor and neatly organized on your wall. This rack supports each shoe one on top of another, taking up the minimum amount of space possible. These racks are perfect for walk in closets or small apartments.
All of our display racks come with the necessary hardware. This includes wall screws and drywall anchors. Although, the anchors aren’t always necessary, depending on the type/condition of your wall. It’s always recommended for supporting weight. The only tools you will need are an electric screwdriver and proper drill bit for the wall anchor.
The sneaker rack with a pair of high tops (size 10), will take up roughly 16″ in height and 12″ in width of wall space. You will want to plan for leaving space in between each pair. Larger size sneakers will take up more space.
The shoe rack with three pair of shoes (size 10), will take up roughly 20″ in width and 25″ in height. The Shrine Shoe Rack was designed to mate up one on top of the other, appearing like a single strip. You could set up a display that runs up to 46″ in height (with 2 racks) or 67″ in height (with 3 racks). Larger size shoes will take up more space.
We offer discounts when you buy 3 or more of the sneaker or shoe racks. Contact us at hello@shrinerack.com for pricing.
